Houses4Hens was born two years ago out of a personal desire to keep hens in my back garden. As a child I was surrounded by a multitude of animals which of course included chickens. These feathered creatures are natural comedians and their antics created lots of smiles and laughter in our family. I always hoped one day to be able to keep chickens again and when finally the opportunity presented itself decided to design their home myself.

In planning the perfect henhouse I called upon the expertise of a local joinery manufacturer in assembling my design and the end result had so much interest both from the manufacturer and friends also keen to keep chickens, that in 2008 I decided to give other pampered hens the opportunity to live in this luxury home.

The current Hetty Henhouse (a leading hen home) is a result my personal experience of keeping hens in the best environment possible together with the very important customer feedback of the first Hetty Henhouse – I am sure that if my hens could talk there would not be too many complaints!!

I am proud that this high quality product is manufactured in a local British workshop using timber that complies with all current regulations on FSC sourcing.

If you are within 30 miles radius a delivery and assembly service is available if required. However we are happy to deliver further afield but please contact for delivery charges.
